Enterprise Florida offers grants forVirtual Business Matchmakingto help Florida companies expand overseas and keep their business growing. As market disruptions bring forth new ways of doing business, the Virtual Business Matchmaking program is one-way Enterprise Florida is helping the state’s small and medium-sized companies.

Matchmaker Service Providers

Florida companies have two options to choose from, depending on the market of interest:

• Enterprise Florida’s international representatives in the below markets/or regions will connect Florida companies with five pre-qualified partners/distributors through teleconference or video-conference.
  • Virtual Business Matchmaking Service – Europe
    • Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.
  • Virtual Business Matchmaking Service – Canada
  • Virtual Business Matchmaking Service – Mexico
  • Virtual Business Matchmaking Services – South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania
  • Virtual Business Matchmaking Service – Japan
  • Virtual Business Matchmaking Service – Taiwan
  • Virtual Business Matchmaking Service – Singapore

• Similar services are offered in additional markets through Enterprise Florida’s partnership with the U.S. Commercial Service and theirInternational Partner Search Plus Virtual Introductions. The U.S. Commercial Service program includes virtual introductions with up to five pre-qualified contacts, with options for additional introductions.

Reimbursement

The reimbursable trade grant covers 100% of the cost of a matchmaker service provided by EFI or the U.S. Commercial, up to $2,500 OR a maximum of $1,200 for virtual business matchmaking services provided by an approved contractor.

Grants must be approved prior to the first day of the scheduled appointments.
