Overview:

Governor Scott and a delegation of 50 high level business executives, elected officials and leaders from the University of South Florida and the University of Miami conducted a businessdevelopment mission to Israelto further strengthen business and cultural ties between Israel and Florida.

The Governor met with top Israeli business and government leaders in Jerusalem, Tel-Aviv and Beersheva who are interested in expanding into Florida. In Tel Aviv, the Governor spoke at a networking event hosted by The Israel-American Chamber of Commerce and the Israel Export & International Cooperation Institute. More than 90 Israeli business persons and government officials attended. Following the event, the Governor spoke at the “Florida: Platform for Israeli Companies Doing Business in Latin America and the Caribbean” seminar. This seminar was attended by 45 Israeli business executives representing Israeli small and mid-sized companies interested in penetrating the Latin American market. The Governor also attended an “Advancing Florida-Israel Collaboration and Economic Growth” seminar held at the Yitzhak Rabin Center.
