Florida Small Businesses to Exhibit at World’s Largest Life Sciences Trade Show
ORLANDO, Fla. (November 12, 2015)– Today, Florida Secretary of Commerce and Enterprise Florida, Inc. (EFI) President & CEO, Bill Johnson, announced EFI will host the Florida pavilion at MEDICA 2015. Florida will again have the largest presence of any state at this year’s show with 44 companies total. The two-story pavilion will be home to 27 of those small and mid-sized businesses.

Many of the companies attending MEDICA 2015 have traveled to the show with EFI previously. Without assistance from EFI, many of the companies would not be able to attend and, without the pavilion, would not be as successful in efficiently reaching such a large and important audience.
Largo-based Infinium Medical, a leading developer and manufacturer of medical equipment, specializing in patient monitors, anesthesia systems and surgical tables, will be showcasing its new Cleo monitor at MEDICA. The Cleo can be configured to measure any combination of non-invasive blood pressure, SpO2, rapid temperature, and capnography (EtCO2).
“MEDICA is a very important show for us because the global location allows us to reach our current distributors and meet with new customers and distributors,” said Oz Ozkaya, Director of Operations for Infinium. “It has been wonderful working with Enterprise Florida at MEDICA. We have been working with the team for 10 or 15 years now and it’s been great. We enjoy all the help and everything they do for us.”
